PATSON DAKA RETURNS TO PREMIER LEAGUE AS LEICESTER CITY WINS PROMOTION

After a one-year absence from the premier league, Leicester City has secured automatic promotion for the 2024/25 season with 2 games remaining.

Leicester city are on the top of the Championship table with 94 points with a game in hand with their closest rivals Leeds united at 90 points.

Leeds fell out of contention when they were beaten by Queens park rangers by 4 goals to Zero last night.

Leicester were relegated to the first division after nine years in the top flight last season and managed to return in their first attempt.

This becomes their fifth time to be promotion to the Premier League, a joint-record held with Norwich City and West Bromwich Albion.
